Hello! My name is Sierra and I am currently a grad student in the Social Work program at Kennesaw State. Parents have been calling me to babysit since I was 12 years old. I've cared for children from 8 months to 15 years old, including children with special needs (autism, ADHD, allergies, etc.). The three pillars of my approach to child care are creativity, compassion, and empowerment. One of my favorite things about childcare is the little things you get to teach kids every day. I like to encourage the children in my care to pay attention while I do other jobs around the house such as cooking or laundry so that they can eventually learn to do those small life skills on their own.
