Mikayla seems like a very nice, sweet and caring lady over the phone. I'm almost sure she is all of these things but I felt the need to inform other parents that there may be another side of her to consider. After she and had our first interview, she and I was very excited about the prospects of her and my children. We set a date for in person meeting. I text to confirm and received no response. Later I received a delayed response and was told her phone sometimes acts up, Ok, a pass is given as this may be the case. Come the time for the interview, something told me to text about two hours in advance just to be sure she didn't have trouble locating our starbucks meeting spot. (My way of confirming without saying, you seem if'y) I'm then told she needs to reschedule. Given, this is the day before I'm needing a hired sitter. This was 3 days after our telephone interview, which was enough time to reschedule. I contact her twice to confirm the rescheduled date and time....I HAVE YET TO HEAR FROM MAKAYLA. She seems very sweet and seems very professional over the phone but things like this needs to be put out in the open because regardless of how sweet or professional you seems, it very UNPROFESSIONAL to not be reliable. My concern would be how reliable she would be with you most precious babies. This is something to consider.
