I have been a Nanny for the past 3 years. Prior to nannying, I was a house manager for a special needs group home for 8 yrs. I’ve taught children from the infant room all the way to pre-k as a teacher’s aid. I’ve studied early childhood development and education. I’ve taken courses on abuse and neglect. I’m trained and certified in CPR and First Aid. I started out as babysitting for my first job. I have had other jobs but with having to take of my mother. It has lead me back to doing what I do now. My responsibilities include transportation, cooking/ meal prep, shopping, cleaning, doing schedules, having meetings. Basically anything that needed to be done.
