My name is Terri, I'm 44 yrs old. I am divorced and could never have kids of my own. I love children & if it were in my cards I would have had three or four of my own. Instead, I spoiled nieces & nephews over the years & now working on great nieces & nephews. I am CPR certified, I am familiar with the 911 system being a former 911 dispatcher & police dispatcher. I was trained to remain calm in a crsis. I did take a child development class way back in the 90s in high school & I remember a lot from that class even after all of these years. I do not drink, smoke or do drugs. I am available when needed. I would be willing to help with light house keeping and or cooking if you need an extra hand on those hectic days. Have Read more pets? No problem. I love animals, I have 3 dogs and 2 cats of my own. So no worries, Fido will be taken care of too. Being an older person, you do not have to worry immaturity as some parents may. No sneaking the boyfriend over (haha) or putting the smart phone over your child's care. You little one(s) would have my attention. After 10 years in the dispatch world I have become very burned out and need a slight change. Your young one would be in capable hands and you wouldn't have to worry (too much). I would not be uncomfortable with the thought of you having a camera in the house to peek in. I would do the same. I am currently looking after a 1 yr old little girl that I simply adore. I love her with all my heart. She is a complete joy. My duties are keeping her entertained by playing, singing, watching cartoons and reading. I make sure she is clean, safe, fed & takes her naps. This job will end come late October when her baby brother is born. I do work 3 til 11 4 days a week at a local eatery. But if a permanent sitter job came available I would be willing to quit.
