Hello. My name is Maddie Thompson and I am a recent graduate of Georgia Southern University, with a major in Child and Family Development with an emphasis in Child Development with a leadership honors. I have been nannying for several years, as well as working at a First Baptist Church of Statesboro (Georgia) Weekday Preschool for 4 years, and teaching a class for 2. I am now working with school age students (including a few with special needs) with Georgia 4-H for an internship that will be completed on August 31st. I have very active involvement in my school as well as my community, and have attended and volunteered at several conference including the NAEYC (National Association of the Education of Young Children) National Conference, the Southern Conference on Children, as well as the Southern Leadership Conference to grow my child provider skills, as well as leadership skills.
