Hello there! My first name is Brittany-Marie and I am currently based in Maryland, but I am looking to relocate back to Atlanta, GA for more permanent living by 2022! I am the oldest of six children so I was casted as the second mother in the household, and it’s a position that I assumed gracefully and still carry! As far as I am concerned, the experience has drastically shaped my unyielding patience and multitasking capabilities for sure! I grew up mostly in Massachusetts, however, my father is in the military so we moved around quite a bit. I believe that aided in me being able to adapt and learn quickly, as well as appreciate structure and the importance of being honest and reliable. In high school, I took Child Development classes for four years and was able to teach in my high school’s preschool during that time. Once I Read more graduated high school, I was officially certified to work with children, infants through preschool age. After high school, I went to college for two years where my major was psychology. Studying psychology and continuing to take child development classes really drilled the importance of effective communication and empathy, among many other things that are so important with all humans--big or small. My happiest moments are when I know I impacted someone’s life in a positive way. With so many children in the world, they are the future. I like to think that I help shape the future in a positive way by teaching, caring for, and protecting your child as if they were my own. That is one of the most rewarding opportunities that I have been gracefully gifted with so far!
