Hello! Before becoming a mother myself, I was a probate paralegal who later became the administrative assistant of a large homeschool co-op. I became so invested in the lives and success of our students that I stayed at the co-op even after my own child graduated. (My son went on to graduate from the University of West Georgia with a Degree in Computer Science and is now gainfully employed in his field.) With my own child raised and living on his own, I realized that I wanted to do something more, something substantial, with my life, so I trained with DONA International to become a doula because I absolutely adore babies, and children, and I am passionate about assisting moms and dads in creating an environment that allows them to focus on the things that really matter, a happy and healthy home life for themselves as well as their children. Read more When I am not working with a family as a doula, I enjoy providing occasional child care. It keeps me young! I believe in creating strong family ties, and am someone who enjoys establishing and maintaining deep and meaningful relationships with both the children I tend and their parents. Bottom line?
