Hello Families! My name is Candis Pearson and I’m 30 years old. I’m originally from Williamsburg, Virginia and have been in Atlanta for 7 years. I just recently purchased my first home a little south of the airport. Big milestone for me! I am currently a licensed real estate agent here in GA, specializing as an apartment locator. Prior to that, I was working with Emory Healthcare throughout the pandemic which I absolutely LOVED. Truly miss my team. I have a bachelors of science in Human Services with a minor in Children’s Rights. I have worked at several youth treatment facilities here in Georgia and also in Memphis, TN where it was my responsibility to meet the needs of all 20 kids. However, my safety ratio was mandated at 1:5. I’ve worked predominately with the ages of 3 to 16. I have experience working with children with autism, emotional/behavioral disorders, Read more and intellectual disabilities. I was also previously employed at the YMCA Child & Youth Watch. Here, I cared for infants to 12 year olds. I am an auntie of four beautiful mini - me’s and I’ve been blessed to have been able to watch and facilitate in their growth and development. I am able to provide age appropriate activities every 30 minutes to an hour. I’ll also be willing to complete household responsibilities such as cleaning, laundry, and cooking as well as run errands and go on outings! I have my own car with a valid drivers license and am a non-smoker.

We've worked with Candis on a couple of occasions with the care of our child (simple baby sitting jobs) ... for us ... she was normal, smart, interested .... and quite frankly fit into our household as if she was a family member. We were completely comfortable with her from the moment we met. She's smart, well spoken, and has a great personality. We'd recommend her to any family.
