Most of these were from word of mouth from professional contacts in the Washington, DC area, however my current, flexible schedule has me traveling a lot and leaves me open to occasional or temporary babysitting. In addition to this childcare experience, I was a Physical Science teacher to 9-10 year olds while living in China in 2012. I greatly value early childhood education and enjoy challenging children to learn in creative and fun ways. I also love crafts and being outdoors. I have some special needs experience with children who have Down Syndrome, but am very open to learning to work with children who have other disabilities.
