I love working with children of all ages, but am most comfortable working with infants through school age children. I started babysitting at 16 for neighbors, close friends', and distant family members. When I was 18 years old, I babysat full time for a family with 9 month old triplet boys and two dogs. Being a full time babysitter has also taught me to be a better multi-tasker. For example when the boys would be sleeping, I would take the opportunity to wash dishes, throw in a load of laundry, and do extra little cleaning around the house. I have currently been going to school at Honolulu Community College to earn my degree in Early Childhood Education and am expected to graduate in Fall 2013. I also work for Kama'aina Kids at Nu'uanu Elementary as an after school group leader--taking care of the kindergarten class! As much as I love Read more the school setting--I still enjoy to babysit whenever given the opportunity. I love to create safe-age appropriate craft and outdoor activities. I am able to help children with homework, cook yummy yet healthy meals, and provide fun entertainment for them!

Caitlin did a great job watching our 2 girls during a special event in Waikiki. Our oldest daughter keeps asking when is she going to play with Ms.Caitlin again. Our 4 month old had just recieved her shots a couple of days before and was very cranky and not her usual happy self. Caitlin was able to handle the situation fantastically! I texted her a few times and she responded immediately. I was VERY comfortable leaving my young girls with her, knowing they were safe and having fun! Thanks again, Caitlin!
