I started babysitting around the age of 9 to earn a badge for Girl Scouts to showcase my responsibility. This partnered well with the fact that I started dreaming of being a teacher from a very young age. I continued to babysit for multiple families through middle and high school and held nanny jobs while in college and again my first years of teaching to supplement my income. As I got older and grew my teaching career along with my friends and sister started to have children my nanny jobs came to an end. I’m currently pivoting from public education to educational technology and in the thick of job hunting and interviewing.
