I have lived on island for 4 years and I teach 3rd grade at a school in Wailuku. I graduated from Arizona State University with a B. A. in Early Childhood Education. I have my teaching certification in Early Childhood Education with an endorsement in Structured English Immersion. While going to school I worked at La Petite Academy in all the classrooms (infants-school age). I continued working for LPA after I moved home to the Bay Area after graduating from ASU. Along with working at LPA, I was a nanny for a family for 7 years. I started when the children were 1 and 3 years old and left when they were 8 and 10 years old. I left both LPA and my nanny position to teach on Maui.
