I have had a passion for working with children for as long as I can remember! Childcare has always been my favorite work experience; I truly cherish the time I get to spend with each child and love the process of getting to know their unique personalities, gifts, likes, and dislikes. Beginning at age 12, I have had plenty experience with babysitting children of all ages. From September 2014--July 2017, I worked for Kids Inc. Daycare in Marion and Cedar Rapids locations, where I attended to infants, toddlers, and school-age children in a variety of settings (before and after school, on field trips, etc.). Through this job, I have been CPR and Bloodborne Pathogen certified. I currently work as a full-time nanny to a toddler, but am looking for a full-time position for the summer. My patience and gentleness with children are qualities that have allowed me to be a Read more safe and trusted adult in many children's lives. I connect with kids easily and quickly; I see them for who they are and recognize their needs, wants, and talents as special and important! I believe it is integral to surround our children with positive and caring adults who understand that they are little humans who are growing and developing into themselves; they bring so much joy to my life, and I would love the opportunity to spend time with your family and loved ones as your children blossom into who they are going to be.
