I am a junior at Iowa State University living in Ames during the school year. I have had numerous been a babysitting gigs since I was about 12, and continue to babysit for several families back home during the summers as needed. I previously held two nannying jobs during high school, one for a family of three over a summer and another for several families and a total of about 8 children on weekends. While I am home over the summer breaks, I work at the Northeast Iowa Community College Child Development Center. Through this job, I have worked with children ages 1-8. I also taught swimming lessons for seven years to both individual children and groups ages 3-12. I am an Elementary Education major, so I have a passion for working with children both inside and outside the classroom. Through my major I am constantly being educated and informed Read more on the best approaches to working with children in a positive and engaging manner. I also consider myself to be flexible, active, responsible, compassionate, and tidy.
