Hello! My name is Katlin Zuidema, I am 23 years old and currently live in Iowa City, IA. I have lived in the Iowa City/ Cedar Rapids area since 2019. I moved to Iowa in 2019 for college, I was enrolled at Kirkwood Community College for the Dental Assisting Program. With being in school full time, I wanted a job that would be flexible with my school schedule. So I started working for Midwest Elite Nannies and till this day I am still nannying through them for multiple families. I started out by doing pick-up and drop-off before/after school while I was in college. After graduating from the Dental Assistant Program in 2021 and getting a Dental Assistant job, I just picked up shifts on the website occasionally. Since August of this year I decided to back to nannying full time. I nanny for an 11 month old little girl Read more Monday-Wednesday every week and have been with them for about 4 months! Thursday-Friday every week I nanny for twins they're around 7 months old and I have been with them for 4-5 months as well. My 11 month old is soo close to walking all by herself, and the twins are both crawling now! I will have my hands full in the up coming months that's for sure! Before moving to college in 2019 I worked at Windsor Manor, in Morrison Illinois. I started in the kitchen as a dietary aid at the age of 15, after working in the kitchen for a year I was asked to work on the floor as a resident assistant for the assisted living and memory care unit. I was employed at Windsor Manor for 4 years and loved working as a Dietary aid and RA. I am very aware of my surroundings at work and loved communicating and learning all about my past residents. I thoroughly loved my job assisting them in anyway they needed. I am CPR and AED certified. I have always had a love and passion for being a care provider wether it's animals, kiddos, or the elderly in assisted living/nursing homes.The relationships and bonds that I have formed with my nanny kids/ residents over the years is something I'll cherish forever!
