I have extensive experience as a caregiver for children, animals, and the elderly. In my current role as a paraprofessional, I specialize in working with children with disabilities, specifically those with Autism and ADHD. I am First Aid/CPR certified and maintain all relevant ADA/ AEA certifications. A background check was recently completed, and while I passed, I believe the current badge misrepresents my report. I am concerned that motor vehicle violations from 2021 are negatively impacting the badge status, despite not reflecting my professional caregiving capabilities. I've had experience with children of all ages i have also taught and prepared children ages 2 to 5 for preschool and kindergarten. i enjoy giving young children a boost in their education i have lots of unique yet effective methods. I am fairly patient with children and lean towards a comfortable understanding of how a family would like their child to be cared for. if possible i enjoy crafts, and regular activities with the children I care for; for such things to work I would require knowledge on things we can do as I do not like going out of bounds. I am CPR, first Aid, and mandatory reporter certified and have recently had a one-year experience with the creative curriculum of teachings strategies with an infant to toddler class. My work with kids has been my career for nine years and I have enjoyed it enough to begin early childhood education degree online. it is not in my interest to drive children around places my services will be provided only in the home and it is not in my interest to handle a child with out-of-control behaviors such as hitting, kicking, throwing things, running away, or biting. if your child is prone to these behaviors I do not qualify as I feel children with these behaviors need their parents more. please feel free to contact me if you are interested in the care I provide.
