Why do you love being a sitter? I love being a sitter because I genuinely enjoy helping children learn, grow, and feel safe and loved. I love getting to know each child’s unique personality, finding fun and creative activities to do together, and creating an environment where they feel comfortable being themselves. Being able to make a positive difference in a child’s day is something I find incredibly rewarding! What experience do you have? I have approximately 16 years of informal childcare experience helping care for my siblings in a large family. Through this experience, I’ve gained hands-on knowledge of children’s different personalities, needs, and developmental stages. I’m comfortable helping with everyday routines, keeping children entertained, providing supervision, and offering patience and support when they need it. My experience has taught me how important it is to be attentive, adaptable, responsible, and understanding when caring for children. What skills and Read more training do you have? My strengths include patience, creativity, dependability, and the ability to connect with children of different ages and personalities. I’m comfortable helping with daily routines, planning age-appropriate activities, assisting with basic needs, and maintaining a safe and positive environment. I also have CPR/BLS certification and experience with activities of daily living (ADLs). I strive to communicate well with parents, respect each family’s routines and preferences, and make sure children feel supported and cared for.
