Hello, I grew up an aunt and started working as nanny by the age of 14. I really like to keep kids engaged with life and their surroundings, by doing things they like to do with them. That could mean playing outside, having a disney dance party, play a video game, or baking cookies. A few of the kids I watch need constant attention, so I learned when preparing meals or activities to have the kids help or do an activity/task in the room with me. This helps with dare devil kids, neuro-diverse kids, as well as kids that really want someone with them at all times. I do cook meals so if the kids want mac and cheese that fine, but if the kids like chilly, soups, tacos, or burgers we're gonna make it happen.
