I am the fourth of eight children and have babysat for years for several other families, so I have a lot of young child experience. I have toddler experience in that I babysat a toddler (and his younger sibling occasionally) on a weekly basis for quite some time. I also babysat a family of 10 children age 10 and under when I was 13, and kept their house picked up as well. I have trained as a substitute teacher but realize I enjoy working one on one with children and being able to develop a relationship with them. I have great love and respect for kids. I am not a big TV watcher, and I love children's books (I am a children's book illustrator; I graduated with a BFA in Illustration from Brigham Young University) and will read them a lot to your child.
