For the last eight years I have dedicated my time and energy to the care of other people's children. I've grown such a passion and a love for what I do. If I could, I'd do this forever. Who doesn't love getting up excited to go to work every morning! Growing up, I had a Nanny of my own. She impacted my life so greatly that today, we still keep in close contact. After I had grown out of her care, she began taking me along on her jobs. I wanted to babysit during my high school years but had not felt comfortable at first, alone. After being her shadow for some time, I gained some experience, felt more confident and had begun gaining clients of my own. Eight years later and I have been everything from an occasional babysitter, to a part-time, full-time, even live-in Nanny. For one summer Read more I even took on the position as a preschool teacher's assistance for a classroom full of two year olds. It was a BLAST!! I definitely had my hands full, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I keep myself up to date on both my CPR and First Aid training, I've been taking these courses yearly since 2011. I hired her thinking her driving from Rexburg would not be a problem. She said she had her own transportation. Come to find out she doesn't have her license, her husband drives her to and from and he can't take ANY time off from his new job. She bailed on me at 8pm the night before I started a new job. Very sweet girl just be careful.

We are so happy to have found Kristyn here on Sittercity. From our first meeting she put us at ease about leaving our son and our son really took a liking to her as well. Her experience really shows through in her care. She was able to get our son down for a nap right away the first time she cared for him and that was very impressive because he usually fights sleep. She is always available when we need her and her communication about scheduled times is very good. I wouldn't not hesitate to recommend Kristyn for all of your child care needs.
