My name is Lindsey Smith. I am a 21-year-old student who goes to Whitworth University in Spokane. I am studying Secondary Education and -English with an English Language Learners minor. I live out near the university. I volunteered in my church's nursery (birth-2. 5 years old) for 4 years and was paid by the church as a Celebrate Recovery child care worker (birth-5th grade) for almost 2 years. I also tutored a third grader with literacy skills an hour a week in 2017. This last summer, I nannied a two-year-old girl. I am CPR and First Aid certified. We love having Lindsey watch our little boy (1 year). We had never left him with anyone besides our immediate family and were very nervous to leave him with a "stranger". Lindsey met us ahead of time at a coffee shop and scheduled a trial run babysitting opportunity for 2 hours so we could feel at ease. She is great with communication, flexible, timely and reliable. She is so sweet with him, and he loves having her around. We plan to use Lindsey for our date nights and weekend events whenever she is available! I would recommend her to others!
