Hannah M., Nanny in Mountain Home, ID 83647 with 2 years of paid experience

My name is Hannah Brown. I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Rehabilitation Science from Boise State University. After graduating, I moved to Mountain Home with my husband who is in the Air Force. I have several years of experience working with children in different settings. While completing my degree, I worked in a childcare facility with children ages 3 to 12, where I provided before- and after-school care, helped with homework, and led fun and engaging activities. During my Occupational Therapy internship, I gained valuable experience supporting children with developmental, sensory, and behavioral needs. Most recently, I have applied the knowledge and experience gained from my degree and internship in my role as a TEAM Behavioral Paraeducator, where I supported students with diverse behavioral and developmental needs in both classroom and one-on-one settings. Through these roles, I have had the opportunity to work with children of all abilities, including those with developmental disabilities and exceptional needs, and I am passionate about creating an inclusive and supportive environment where every child can thrive. I strive to build meaningful connections with the children I care for, encouraging creativity, independence, and confidence in a safe and positive space. I also value open communication with parents and caregivers to ensure consistency and support for each child's growth and well-being. I am dependable, responsible, calm, and take pride in creating a steady, nurturing environment for the children I work with. I have reliable transportation and am punctual and trustworthy. While I am not currently certified, I have been CPR and First Aid certified within the past year and am familiar with basic safety and emergency response procedures. Whether your child needs a quiet, nurturing day or one filled with play and exploration, my goal is to provide a worry-free experience for both children and their parents or caregivers. I love incorporating play-based learning and activities that support each child's individual growth, curiosity and confidence. I am also happy to help with homework, prepare light meals or snacks, and keep children active and engaged throughout the day. In my free time, I love baking, reading, crafting, walking my dog, and spending time outdoors. I would love the chance to share my experience and love for working with kids with your family and help your child thrive!
