Hello! My name is Marissa Ruiz. I have lived in Chicago since graduating from UIUC with B.S. degree in Animal Sciences in 2021. I fell in love with Chicago, and I decided to continue my education at UIC! Now, with a Master’s in Social Work, I am awaiting beginning of the school year to start as a Licensed School Social Work at a school in the South-side of Chicago. I are the oldest of 2 children, and I have been babysitting for one year (18-month-old, 10-year-old), but I have a lot of experience working with children from five to fourteen years. I love creating little projects with kids, as I think it's a wonderful way for them to use their imagination. I love yoga, baking, reading, playing outside, and video games. I'm confident you'll leave feeling completely comfortable that your kids will have a great time!
