Hello parents! My name is Sophia. I am a 19 year old online college student looking for a family to nanny for! My experience with children started when I was 12 years old as a babysitter. In order to start growing my knowledge I took child development as a freshman in high school along with coaching a K1 cheerleading team. After completing child development I went on to the advanced childhood education program where I was teaching ages 3-5 for the rest of my time in high school along with following the K1 cheerleading team up to 5th grade over a 4 year time period. My senior year I began work at a gym where I was in the daycare working with ages 6 months to 12 years. After graduating I started work at a naeyc accredited daycare to further my experience even more. This is my most current place Read more of work. I am also CPR certified. I have always wanted to provide for a family in need of childcare and would love to be apart of your children(s) journey! In addition to my babysitting, coaching, and teaching experience, I have spent the last year homeschooling two 4 and 5 year old boys in preschool. On top of my time homeschooling them, I was also their nanny along with both of the boys sisters at times. Over this time period I spent my monday-fridays with them. I taught preschool in the mornings with both boys and almost every afternoon consisted of going on a new adventure together. I have truly had the experience of my life working with this family for the past year. I have formulated long lasting close relationships with both the kids and the parents that will last a lifetime. I had the chance to formulate memories that will forever have a special place in my heart. This family has become apart of me and who I am today. Unfortunately my time has come to an end working full-time with this family as the kids all attend summer camps this upcoming summer. I plan to further my experience and hopefully have the opportunity to work with another amazing family!
