Hi there! My name is Samantha and one of my passions in life is working with children! I am a patient, nurturing, responsible and loving caregiver with 10+ experience with children, ages ranging from newborn to 17 years old. With my extensive background, I am confident in my ability to provide a safe, fun and healthy environment for your child(ren). I love to be outdoors, animals, involve music and play with learning and teaching, reading, and experiencing new adventures. With that being said, creating a loving and stimulating environment is definitely my main priority! My hobbies include traveling, music, being a foodie, spending time with my family and friends, and trying new things. I have created long-lasting memories and relationships with the families I have worked with in the past and hope to create new ones with a wonderful new family. I have worked as a preschool teacher, a supervisor for the family and childcare departments at my local YMCA, a childcare counselor for children aging 4-16, and a nanny for the last 3 years. I am CPR/First Aid certified and have multiple assessments regarding child safety and care. I adore working with children and hope to continue my journey with a new family! Working with children is definitely a passion of mine! I have also nannied and babysat in between work and school since I was 16! In addition, I have a 6 year old nephew, 3 month old nephew, and a 5 year old niece whom I babysit quite frequently. I consider myself to have a lot of patience and always find new ways to have fun with kids! I love taking them outside, to the park, helping with homework, tutoring, playing board/group games, doing arts & crafts and much more! I also support and enjoy activities to stimulate minds and help with development! I am also a great addition to any household in need of not only childcare, but assistance with household needs such as cleaning, running errands and organizing.
