A little bit about myself... I am a sophomore attending Moraine Valley Community College where I am currently taking general education courses to obtain my associates degree. I hope to one day pursue a career in childhood education; hence why I love being around children. They always manage to brighten my day with just a smile. I've had four years of child care experience and am currently babysitting for a family out in Darien on occasion. I've been with this current family for about a year now and have grown very attached to their 20 month old boy. Aside from toddlers, I've also watched and cared for children ages 2-9. I'm pretty flexible and comfortable with any age range, even infants. I also love pets... furry and all! Before babysitting for families, I had the experience growing up, of watching and caring for my three younger siblings. I am the Read more oldest of the four, which pushed a lot of responsibilities my way. My mother was a single mom, working two jobs and going to school full-time to better herself. I feel having those responsibilities really made me who I am today and they continue to help me grow on a daily basis. I hope that I come across as many experiences as I possibly can to be around children - to help them learn, play and grow.
