Hello! My name is Leidy Paola, I am 20 years old nanny -and I enjoy what I do. I love to do outdoor activities, crafts, play with kids, teach new things. I graduated from high school in May 2015. During my Junior and senior years of high school I took childhood development courses and worked as an aid at a nearby preschool (portfolio provided upon request). As a young teenager I have always enjoyed childcare. My first experience in childcare was when I was 12 years old. My mother provided childcare for 3 years for a toddler with special needs. Although I did not personally provide the child's primary care, I did learn a great deal about what it takes to not only provide supervision for a child, but to also provide a safe and nurturing environment that is conducive to a child's development. At 14 years old I became Read more a primary babysitter for a 1 year old boy. During that time my grandmother ran a daycare for young children and I would often volunteer my time as a daycare assistant -which I continued to do for one year. I also began volunteering my services to my home church as a Sunday school teacher for children ages 3 - 5. At the age of 18, I became an official nanny and since then I have provided care for three families with more than one child with ages varying from newborn to toddler. Although I have gained most of my nanny experience with infants and toddlers, I am certainly not limited to one age group.
