I have over 12 years experience as a preschool teacher/nanny /infant to school age day care worker and inclusion aide. I have experience with special needs children (ADHD, autism, down syndrome, etc). I am a single mother of three children , now 18, 18, 20 who I have raised alone since they were 4, 4 and 6 years old. I have my paraprofessional certificate from the state of Illinois to aide in the school systems. I love children and I am VERY creative. I like to teach and do fun art projects, I have a lot of resource books and material to learn ABC's to colors to numbers, etc. I do not mind getting on the floor and playing a game (sometimes over and over again) or getting my hands dirty with projects or building a snowman. I am a caring, loving, patient mom who adores kids. I also love Read more animals and have had many from cats and dogs to reptiles and birds over the years. I still have a cat and dog. I am not afraid of any animal. My goal would be to find a family who would appreciate what I have to offer their child or children. I am happy to serve lunch if needed and clean up after. I would not leave your home a mess and clean up what the children play with in my care. I have a car and a clean driving record and would venture to parks, nearby nature centers or activities that are close by if I was granted permission to do so. If not, a walk in the neighbor is also fine. I would take a drug test on the spot or any time in my employment if asked to do. I am also a non-smoker. My salary is negotiable if paid cash or to be taxed. I hope to meet my "future family" soon and be the best nanny I can be to your children.
