Hello! My name is Maria, and I have worked at a daycare for about a year. I also have volunteered at an ExSEL after-school program on the Westside of Chicago and was a teacher's assistant for first communion classes at St. Edna in Arlington Heights. I have worked with children ranging from 5 months to 12 years old. I have also worked with children with cerebral palsy and down syndrome. I am currently working on my Bachelors at the Chicago School of Psychology and applying to grad school in hopes of completing a Psy. D. in clinical psychology. I was born in Mexico and moved to Illinois when I was ten, so I am happy to teach your children some Spanish. I also have some musical experience since I was in a band throughout high school and know a little bit of French!
