HI! I'm Molly. My fiancee and I have been in Chicago for three years now, and we love it! I am a theatre artist and server currently, but I am ready for more stable hours. I have enjoyed a background of working with kids in the arts (shows and theater camps) which leads me to believe I would truly love nannying. By degree, I am a theatre director and stage manager. Stage management in particular has taught me several things I know would be valuable as a nanny. I am a highly organized and sensitive problem solver. I am very comfortable creating structure and schedules, and intuitive enough to know when the schedule needs to be flexible. Stage management also taught me to manage creative people with respect and care. To match my organizational and logical side, I am also a creative. I paint, read, craft and create art all Read more the time. My creativity would be at the beck and call of your kids. Let's craft, let's paint, let's dance, let's pretend. I love to read allow and play games. I would hope to be a part of their playtime. My work in theatre had lead me to be very emotionally intelligent, which allows me to see the needs of children. I love working with kids because they are so emotionally driven. I hope to help the kids I work with to work through and process their emotions in a healthy way. I have always been an honor student, so I feel very comfortable helping children with homework - always working towards the child's confidence in their knowledge of the subject. I can help cook - though I will not pretend I am chef. I enjoy trying new recipes and putting together easy meals. I can look after pets, and help with light housework also. I am an older sister. I have two sisters, four and eight years younger than me, but they are so close to me. I was an integral part of their upbringing. Between working with creative kids in theatre and camps, and my sisters, I firmly believe in treating kids with respect. Kids are these amazing little humans, learning how to live. I want to show them they can make mistakes and that their ideas and feelings are valid. Being a nanny, I am a part of their daily lives and their development. I would hope to help them grow to be confident and independent. Please feel free to contact me for more info. I would love to discuss your position and your kids. -Molly
