My name is Miguel Manero. I am a teacher at Chicago Public Schools and during the summer I have a pretty flexible schedule. I've had tremendous experience working with children aged 3-12 since I was 15 years old working at a day camp, coaching children, substitute teaching, boy-scouts after school program, rec leaders at the Chicago Park District and am now wrapping up my 7th year of teaching. Pros: -Own a car - K-8th certified Teacher -CPR certified - energetic, (outdoor activities) - English and Spanish speaker - 15 years of experience with children 3-12 - can monitor many children at once - I also have experienced working children with special needs since I am also certified as a special- ed teacher. Cons: -Do not have a lot of experience with 0-2 year old infants - limited availability since this is not my full time job.
