We had a phone interview with her in which we discussed hours and pay rate, both of which she agreed to. We then set up an in person interview. Days later she texted asking for both more money and hours. When we informed her that we could not give more than the discussed hours/rate we asked if she was still interested, and if the in person interview was still on; she replied yes to both. When the day of the interview came she was a no call, no show. We are very disappointed, she seemed like a promising applicant but has proven otherwise.

I expected at least certain basic degree of professionalism from this candidate who is in the business of applying for positions. We decided to connect over the phone and discuss the opportunity. I made it very clear about the days/hours of service needed and the necessity of having his/her own car to drop kids off at lessons. However, after setting up a time for interview, she just dropped off and didn't have the courtesy of letting me know ahead of time that she is not interested to chat any more. This reflects right away what integrity to expect in terms of service quality and accountability.
