I believe that I have always been a caregiver concerned with the holistic growth of an individual constantly riveted by the stimuli with which they are surrounded. I am concerned with being an active participant in that developmental process by also engaging in that same sort of understanding of the world around us. My experience with babysitting includes caring for a lovely family for the past eight months. Daily tasks included transportation, helping with homework (these are middle school-aged children), basic food preparation, and entertainment (keeping them engaged with play!). I have previous certification in work with children more relevant to the field of casework and research (DCFS mandating reporter certified, etc). I also hold a bachelor's in psychology, assisting with any knowledge relevant to child care.
