Hello, my name is Kristen! I am a full time science high school teacher. I LOVE science and enjoy sharing my passion with high schoolers. I work at Adlai E. Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire, IL. While teaching is my passion, I love working with kids in the summer. I am a resident in Lincoln Park, Chicago and enjoy being active, exploring, and having fun! As a teacher, I love working with kids--all ages. As a college student, I took an internship in Cape Town, South Africa where I worked at the Red Cross Children's Hospital with patients in the burn unit, surgical care, and waiting room. I was there for a month, and it was absolutely life changing. My heart was filled with joy from these children, and since then I jump at the opportunity to work with little ones. I received my bachelors in chemistry at the University Read more of Iowa, and stayed for my masters in secondary science education also at the University of Iowa. I have volunteered in hospitals, worked at camps, tutored at schools, and been involved in many mentorship programs. I am constantly around others, especially because I am a triplet! I look forward to meeting you!
