I am the oldest of 5, and clearly remember being mistaken as the mother of my youngest brother due to always taking care of him as our mom worked and went to school full-time. I began babysitting other children when I was 14 years old. My mom studied early childcare education in college. As a high schooler at the time, I was always interested in learning from her. At the age of 18 I started working at a large daycare with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children. Working in a professional daycare provided me the most extensive childcare experience. I worked alongside amazing caregivers and was trained and taught valuable skills. During my college years, I worked as a nanny with multiple families, some of whom I continue to communicate with and occasionally babysit/dog-sit/house-sit for. I am originally from Mexico but have lived on the north side of Chicago my Read more entire life after my single mother migrated here when I was an infant. I love to travel and explore different cultures, food, and music. I currently live in the Albany Park area with my boyfriend and my dog Suki. I graduated law school in December 2021 and am studying full-time for the bar exam which I will take in late February 2022.
