I am a social worker who is now in graduate school for Family Counseling. I have been a nanny with the same family for the last three years. So I spend 30 hours a week with a 2 and a 4 year old. They are the best and I feel like a part of the family. However, I can only do 30 hours to make sure I have enough time for school. So while I can't sign up for a regular "every Friday at.." commitment, I would love to babysit more as your weekend/ date night sitter! I grew up in a huge family and am now surrounded by gobs of nieces and nephews. I have infant experience (from day one), and infant-toddler experience with twins. I have also worked professionally and in a babysitting capacity with kids with extra behavioral/ emotional needs and am comfortable with in my abilities Read more when that is a factor. In addition to being a nanny and social worker, I have been a tutor and substitute teacher. I love teaching kids, whether it's to read, to recognize numbers, to learn to problem solve and potty training! I love getting to be a part of learning in kids' lives.
