I am a 25-year-old who has spent the past two years leading a social-emotional learning based afterschool program at a Cambridge elementary school. I have worked with children with a variety of behavioral and emotional needs and care deeply about creating nurturing spaces where young people feel empowered and loved. Activities I particularly enjoy doing with children include art projects, imaginative play, reading, and physical activity. I wrote and performed with a children's theater troupe in college and love being goofy with children and fostering creativity. I also have experience tutoring at the elementary and middle school level and can provide academic support. I have experience working with students ages 6-18 in formal school and after-school settings, and have 10 years of babysitting experience with children ages 2-13. I graduated from Tufts University in 2015 with a BA in American Studies.
