I am an actor and love to plan creative, fun activities. I am currently studying to become a Speech Language Pathologist. I've lived in Chicago for 15 years now and love this city! I think there are so many great opportunities and events for kids and I would love to be a part of your family's life. I have taught classes at Gymboree for 4 years, worked as the Lead Teacher in the Twos classroom at Little Marvels Daycare, and nannied many families for about 5 years. I've had experience with infants through middle school, and am happy with any age. Some of my favorite things to do: Go to Lincoln Park Zoo, and eat the same snacks as the animals (milk, bananas, peanuts, lettuce, tomatoes, etc) Create our own board games! During the blizzards, a popular one was Avalanche!, based on Shoots and Ladders. Play football, soccer, tag at Read more the park, I Spy, go to the Library. Write and organize our own puppet shows, based on favorite characters from books. i.e., Lowly Worm meets Curious George and Harold (and his purple crayon). See a play at Navy Pier. Build a volcano, make goop, "experiments" with water tables. Cook and bake.
