Hello parents and guardians, my name is Alexis. I’m 213 now years old from the south side of Chicago. I'm currently a student at Harold Washington. Will be transferring to a University with an aspiration to obtain a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education with a speculation in Special Education and a minor in Spanish.  I’m the eldest amongst my sisters and cousins, so I’ve been caring my younger family members since a very early age. As a result, my experience has allowed me to have an early exposure to childcare and is truly where my love for it began. In addition to caring for family, I’ve previously worked for a family with a 5 and 8 year old on an occasional basis as a relief sitter for a close friend who worked for them. I enjoyed my time with the children as we were able to enjoy a ton of creative Read more time with arts and crafts. I can say I have gained so much experience, knowledge and patience taking care of them. In my free time, I love to read, going to the gym, thrifting, and I continue to develop my knowledge in Child and Adolescent Development.
