Hi! My name is Marissa and I am a 26 year old living in Rogers Park, Chicago! I have a Bachelor’s degree in filmmaking and have a HUGE passion for childcare as I consider myself a very caring, compassionate and mindful person. I am 1 of 28 first cousins! I’m very proud and thankful to be a part of such a huge, close-knit family. Being right in the middle, I have grown up with lots of infants, toddlers and young children my entire life— constantly babysitting and watching over them. I feel very comfortable and fulfilled when I am caring for a younger human being because I am a big believer in teaching and growth develop at a young age. In the past three years I have worked at FELS childcare in Philadelphia as a teacher and summer camp counselor for children ranging from infant to 13 years old. I Read more have completed certificates in Adult, Child & Infant First Aid/CPR for the states of PA and IL. From 2015-2017 I was a Chicago Dog Walker which allowed me to learn a lot about Chicago as a city and care for many different dog breeds. From 2019 to 2020 I worked on 21st Century Fox’s TV show Empire after graduating from Columbia College Chicago in May 2019. While working on set for 80 hours a week, I worked heavily with the main cast and infant/child actors! From 2020 to now I’ve worked in the film/commercial industry and also was a nanny to twin year old girls (10 to 13 years old) who I now consider my forever family 🤩 I look forward to connecting with you and your children/pets in the near future!
