I am currently a junior at the University of Illinois at Chicago and I’ve always loved working with children. I have been working with kids since I was 16. I feel like the key with working with kids is patience and safety. You can’t take care of kids well if you don’t have patience and don’t keep the kids safe then it won’t be any fun for anyone. I learned that quickly when I started my first babysitting job, children need to feel safe and confortable in their environment in order to have a good time in your care.
