Hello! My name is Ash and I am a creative professional with a background in studio art with over 5 years of experience working in libraries. I recently received my masters degree in library science and I also have a BFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I am currently looking for part time work in childcare or pet care. I have availability for week day afternoons, evenings and am available on weekends. Additionally, I am still covid conscious and mask in public spaces. I have regular babysitting clients currently that I have been working for since 2020. In 2019, I spent a month working as an aftercare teacher at a Waldorf school where I supervised children and taught crafts. I have also been working as a dogsitter/walker on and off for the past 9 years. (I'm great with kitties too! I have my own little cute Read more guy.) My past and current employers would all agree that I'm a responsible, hardworking and friendly person to be around. I love being out in nature or doing crafts! When I was younger I spent years in Girl Scouts and led groups of younger scouts in day camps. Additionally, I've held higher stress jobs where I learned to multi-task and be a clear communicator. I'm open to doing more tasks around the home in addition to childcare, whether that be laundry, food prep, pet care, etc. I also have a car and am a reliable driver.
