Hi, my name is Michelle! I am a current student at Messiah University, studying Human Development and Family Science with a minor in Children and Youth Services. I am graduating from Messiah this May and then I plan to attend the Erikson Institute to receive a Master's in Child Development with a concentration in Child Life. I have both paid and volunteer experiences with children through babysitting, volunteering at my church's nursery with toddlers and infants for around 4 years, and volunteering at Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital in the Child Life department. While I volunteered at Penn State I interacted with all ages from infancy to late adolescence and volunteered under the supervision of Child Life Specialists. For volunteering, I played with and supported hospitalized children and their siblings/families. I would also comfort and hold infants. I also have experience working a part-time paid position at a church near Read more Messiah, called West Shore Evangelical Free Church, at their daycare with ages 3 to 4 years old. I also have experience with house-sitting, babysitting, and pet-sitting since high school.
