Hi there! I'm a fully vaccinated (!) social worker in the process of earning my LSW. I have two years of direct care experience working in a residential facility for youth with autism and/or behavioral disorders. Because of the population at my previous place of employment, I am experienced in caring for and meeting the specific needs of children and teens who are adopted, are transgender or in the process of discovering their identity, or have ADHD or autism. I approach my care work with compassion and understanding. I believe that underneath every behavior is a feeling or need to be addressed. I am happy to help with homework, do arts and crafts, go to parks and beaches, share music, play games, watch movies, and involve children in cooking process and other age appropriate tasks. I have a car so I can help with pick-up/drop-offs and assist with errands. Let's Read more chat and see if I'm the right fit for your family!
