Hello! My name is Ashley. I most recently worked as a Lead Teacher in the Preschool and currently work in a Toddlers/Twos room, but I have experience in all of the rooms (infants-preK). Working with kids is the best part of my job, as I am a firm believer that some of life's most important lessons are the ones we learn early: how to communicate and ask for help, how to build positive relationships with others, and how to acknowledge and support our emotions. Watching children grow even more into the people they are is such a reward! I have experience with potty-training, bed/nap-time assistance, and meal preparation. I love to use play time as a prime time for creating learning moments, and have experience planning activities for multiple children. I graduated from Iowa State in the spring of 2021 with a B.S. in Psychology, a certificate in leadership studies, Read more and a minor in Child, Adult, & Family Services. I am currently enrolled in another bachelor's program.
