Hey Families. I am Rebecca. I have over twenty years experience in child care. I have been both a teacher and a nanny. Both so alike yet so different! Both positions your caring for children as they were your own and keeping them on age appropriate schedules and all that goes along with that. But as a teacher you learn more about the education of the child and it is in a group care setting and as a nanny you learn everything about that child or children because it’s more one on one care.As my first nanny job I helped raise the boy from age infant to 6 years of age. I helped him through his age appropriate developmental milestones and had a lot of adventures to places such as the Shed aquarium, the Field Museum, Maggie Daily Park, the Harold Washington Library and so on. My other nanny job Read more weren’t such as this. But I did a wide range of things with the children. I did meals snacks, naps, pick ups from school, homework, parks, play dates and the list goes on. I’m a nanny that has strong communication with my families! I’m dependable and kind and loving! I have letters of recommendations if needed and references if needed. I love children and helping them through their journey in life! I hope to be your family’s next nanny!
