Hi! My name is Raven, and I am true Chicagoan! In my free time I enjoy reading, writing, and doing karaoke. I am an SIUE graduate and I recently moved back home in search of work pertaining to my degree. At a young age I grew a love and passion for caring and teaching children and I always knew that I wanted to work with them when I got older. I am the second eldest of seven and I started babysitting as young as 7 years old. I have a lot of experience with working with children as young as 3 months-17 years old. I have been the lead camp counselor for my church summer program for children K-12 for 5 years, I have tutored children in Reading and English for 3 years, and I have years of experience caring for children full time that includes but isn’t limited to: Read more cooking, cleaning, preparing for bed, dropping off/picking up from school etc. I love being active and creative so I will always have plenty of activities to do when watching your child. Children are the sweetest, most innocent, and unproblematic people in the world. I love what I do because I love being the voice for kids when they can’t be for themselves. Young people are my passion and they are the future so it is really important to me to always supply some type of support system for them.
