I recently interview Francesca for a nanny opportunity I posted on Sitter City for my 1 year old son. She appeared interested in the role. We discussed her availability and when she could start. She had no problem completing the background check or answering any of my questions. She explained she was only available on Tuesdays and Thursdays because she was dog sitting for a family on MWF. I told her it wouldn't be a problem. We were looking for a part-time nanny anyway. Shortly after the background check was completed, I sent her text to schedule a meet & greet with her. For one of her days she said she was available. I wanted to setup a few hours to observe and to make sure my son felt comfortable with this new nanny. She explained she needed to take her bike into a repair shop, and asked if we could do it later. I gave her another timeframe for the same day. After that text I didn't hear from her until hours later. She explained she didn't think she would be a good fit and declined to work with my family.
