I love working with children in every way. Whether its taking them out to the park, helping them with homework, or reading them stories before bed. After working with kids for years, I've realized that it's the littlest things that count most to them. All children are different and have their own needs and I'm always willing do what I can to fulfill that need. I love teaching what I know and being a positive impact for local families. Childrens' futures are important, and to them I can be more than only a babysitter, but also a friend. I am a student at UIC and have a 3.5 year old son. I always thought I was prepared for motherhood after being the "handy dandy assistant" big sister and babysitter for over a decade. Boy, was I wrong- now that I have been a full-time hands-on mother for a few years, Read more I see how nothing can prepare you for the roller coaster that involves those sleepless nights, diarrhea finding a way in your hair, discovering last week's missing drink coasters in the living room vents, and everything in between. :) So parents, I come prepared for any type of challenge! ** My schedule changes each month, but I am usually available for last minute appointments, weekday outings, early weekends etc. The unexpected tends to conveniently occur at the absolute wrong time, so I try to do what I can to provide some relief during times of desperation throughout parenthood. I have a reliable car (and a little sidekick that makes a great playdate), so if you need an extra source of back-up saved on your phone, I can usually come by within the hour (I reside in Pilsen). Of course the sooner in advance, the better, however due to my consistently changing availability, I might not be able to commit to something that's routine. Whether you cant take the day off work when your child gets the flu overnight or just feel like having that spontaneous late-night getaway with the spouse on a random Tuesday, I am only a quick call/text away. :) Feel free to message me anytime for my contact info or if you have any additional questions, thanks!
