Meet Kelly

Hello! My name is Kelly and I have been caring for kids for over 15 years. I am interested in working with families that need an occasional babysitter, mainly evenings and weekends. I am also available on most federal holidays and throughout the summer months. I am currently a Teacher-Librarian at a Pre-K-8th grade elementary school in the West Loop, and my past experience includes babysitting, nannying, tutoring, and being a counselor and health manager at an overnight summer camp. As a babysitter/nanny, I have worked with newborns through 13 year olds, up to six kids at a time. I have experience with multiples (twins and quadruplets), and have worked with children who have special health requirements. When I am caring for children, I enjoy playing, singing, reading stories, doing arts and crafts, going for walks and to the park, and taking adventures to the museums/zoo/pool, etc. As a teacher, Read more I always incorporate age-appropriate developmental activities into my time with the kids, such as counting, ABC's, motor skills, or homework help. ***I am allergic to cats, birds, and dogs that shed heavily.
